These have been my favorites:
Hyper Dimension for Super Famicom
Supersonic Warriors 2 for DS
Budokai 3 PS2/HD re-release.
I like the Xenoverse games as well. The character creation thing is lots of fun.

The Budokai trilogy on PS2 were awesome, specifically 2 and 3. I also spent alot of time with the budokai on PSP.

Budokai 1 & 3 were favorites. Super DB was good too.
I played in the DB FighterZ closed beta this weekend. The presentation is superb, gfx and sound. Game plays like GG & MVC2 mixed together. Netcode was decent, but needs more work. Still not sold on the game yet as I'm no longer a huge fan of DB anymore. Also I don't have time for more than one fighting game in my life right now. Still, fans of DBZ will eat the game up and it also seems like a good beginner, fighting game.

I just saw that the season pass for Dragonball FighterZ is $35! Anybody know if the additional characters will be unlockable in-game like with Street Fighter V?
