Have you played ATARI today!!!

Post by mas »

Since I've seen that story on the Atari carts that were dug up in the landfill and was sold on eBay, I hooked up my Atari 7800 and was playing the last two days.
Just trying to see if there was another thread or if there is any Atari collectors out there.
I buy the classics and the games are usuall y 50¢- 1.00 a game.
I was playing pac-man for the 2600 and even though its the worst port, it does have some charm to it. Also tried out food fight and asteroids for the 7800. Food fight is such a fun game

Figure this could be just an Atari thread all together. So talk about any system or anything related to Atari games and systems

I'm not a formal "collector" of any video games, but I own a Atari 2600, 5200, 7800 + a handful of games. Love this stuff to pieces.

Yeah Thats right now. I remember asking for advice when I got the 7800. I own 8/7800 and 10/2600 games now. They literally cost me 1.00 a game.
I noticed that if I go on eBay then I have to pay more but my retro store 1.00 or so a game. They do have Mario bros for 7800, but there asking 25.00 for it and Thats to much for that game

I like ms pacman on the 7800 also. Watched some videos on the homebrew carts and would love to get the pacman collection, donkey Kong, and the berserk game. Have to watch those on ebay

Even though I wasn't born when Atari was a thing, I collect for the 2600 sometimes.

It's not something I actively look for, as I have most of the games I wanted for the system, but I still collect them.

Last Atari game I ever bought was back in November, if I recall correctly. I think it was Atari's hangman cartridge.

My favorite games on the system are easily Donkey Kong, Pitfall!, Zaxxon, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man Jr., Demon Attack, and Berzerk. It's a good system; just not something I actively look for.
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

You need River Raid, Yar's Revenge, Kaboom, Warlords, and some paddles.
