Right, but even more important are titles like Prince of Persia, Wizardry, Ultima, and Lode Runner, which were originally created on the Apple II and have had lasting impact on the games market.

Prince of Persia is a good call. I always liked that game.

And Wizardry was the RPG that had the most influence and impact on the Japanese RPG industry. Ultima also had some influence in Japan, but far more influence for US RPG design. Hell, co-creator Robert Woodhead, founder of Animeigo, went to Japan personally to negotiate Japanese rights for the Wizardry franchise. It was his experiences there that lead him to meet his wife and found Animeigo. All thanks to creating Wizardry on the Apple II.
