I'm trying to put together a list of Metroidvania games for the Vita and Switch as I've been on a kick for those style of games for awhile now. Rather than making a list via Excel, I'd rather do it online here so that the community can jump in and add discussion around the genre.

Selfishly speaking, I want to limit this to those two platforms because those that the two consoles that I'm into right now; if you have any recommendations, feel free to reply and I'll update the list (or remove if it doesn't fit). It might sound dumb to limit this to those two platforms but bear with me.

Blasphemous
Gato Roboto

Both are enjoyable. Blasphemous is more challenging, while Gato Roboto is on the cuter side and short but infinitely worth playing.
