Dawn of Sorrow HALP

So i'm playing all the GBA and DS Castlevania games. I am up to, and stuck in, Dawn of Sorrow. I know i can look it up but i find when you are not entirely sure you what you are looking for.. you end up reading spoilers.

The last few "important" things i've done are: Got the walking under water thing, beat the monster at the top of the tower (Gergoth), and made my way (poorly) across the long "spiky water" room at the bottom left of the map.

I've no flippin clue where to go. Can't get back up the tower. Spiky water room just leads to a slot machine. The other direction on the bottom of the map just leads to a room where time stops...

Can anyone give me just a tiny, non spoily, hint?

Wasn't able to get to it last time i tried. I will try again now though.

I TOTALLY forgot about flying armor, because i haven't used it in so long, so made it to the top of the tower and got a key. I have no idea what to use on :)

EDIT: Think i figured something out :)
