I don't know if these count, due to the action mechanics, but...

Ristar (Genesis)
Batman (NES)
Rocket Knight Adventures (Genesis)

The Umihara Kawase series, especially if you're into Bionic Commando-style grappling. For that matter, Bionic Commando is awesome... I really liked the PS3 remake too.

Castle of Illusion (GEN) (I really need to play the remake!)
The Jungle Book (GEN)
Aladdin (SNES version and GEN version)

Which Rayman games should I be playing? I've never played one before.
Have: Sega Genesis, SNES, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 800XL, PC, N3DS XL, Wii U, GBA, Xbox One, Switch

The traditional 2D rayman games are the first Rayman on PS1, Rayman Origins on Wii/PS3/360, and Rayman Legends on WiiU.
