I recently found this site which makes a list of all the sales happening over several different websites and is updated frequently.

Amazon is doing a one day "gold box" sale on videogames. The main deal is Max Payne 3 for $39.99. For the next 2.5 hours The Witcher 2 (Xbox 360 version) is $47.99.

(Damn, you modern console guys have to pay a premium on games. I very highly recommend The Witcher 2, but you can get it at gog.com for PC at $40 regular price.)

FYI from what I've played (about 2 hours) Max Payne 3 is totally awesome. Think Tony Scott directs Metal Gear Solid length cutscenes with Rockstar-interpreted Max Payne gameplay.

If you have XBLA and a Kinect, you can get The Haunt for free right now:

Apparently, this game was developed by the same guy behind Parappa the Rapper.

Winter Wolves are having a 25% off sale on all their games in their catalogue. Go to their site and use the coupon code 4THJULY to get the discount.

They make a lot of English visual novels. Bionic Heart was pretty cool from what I played in the demo.

Amazon's not going to just sit idly buy and watch everyone throw money at the Steam Summer Sale. They have a sale of their own and many of the games activate on Steam:
