Ok I played a fair amount of Deepak over the weekend. If you are interested you need to know a couple things. It is a flash game. Meaning you get a zip file with a .swf file inside. It is not necessarily a bad thing, just I would have liked knowing that before getting the game. The game is marginally difficult. I played over 140 stages on Friday and Saturday and only got stuck on a couple (maybe three). It plays alot like Bubble Bobble or Snow Bros, but has a rocking sitar soundtrack, so it can just suck you in for a couple hours. But when you are done you probably will not want to play the title again for awhile. I would have loved if it was a rom that could be put on a cart or if it was multiplayer, but as a single player romp it was fun just not fulfilling.

PC RPG specialists, Spiderweb Software, are having a sale on their games (Avadon, Avernum, Exile, etc). The games are all seeing a permanent 20% price drop and throughout October there is an additional 10% taken off of that.

If you're willing to join the dark side and install EA's Origin client on your system, then you can get a free copy of Burnout: Paradise by typing in the passphrase PARADISE at checkout.

Holy crap! Deus Ex: Human Revolution is $10 on Amazon! If I hadn't already bought it for $1 via that OnLive promotion a while back, I would be all over this for sure.

Agreed. It ranks up with the likes of Planescape: Torment in terms of games I hold in high esteem for their excellent writing.
