When something like Wasteland 2 comes about I think this sort of idea needs as much support as possible. There's so many games/genres that have been abandoned by publishers yet the whole Brian Fargo thing has show there is still a market. People want these games, granted they might not sell in vast quantities but then not every game needs to be a platinum type seller.
I'm hoping that a lot of publishers will look over this whole situation and realise investing more in smaller ideas is the right way forward.
