The Gameological Society

Post by prfsnl_gmr »

The Gameological Society is a new video game website associated with The A.V. Club - one of my favorite sites for pop-culture articles and reviews. I am enjoying it, and I thought that I would share a link with the Racketboy community:

http://gameological.com/

So far, the site features more mature writing than most video gaming websites, and I am thoroughly enjoying the articles. I hope that you enjoy it as well.

Amazing template and typography! The writing is pretty impressive too! Favorited and subscribed! They seem do to more browser games write-ups.

I agree that there are a lot of articles on web-based games, but they did a great piece on Abadox recently that I hope will turn into an ongoing feature:

Another great piece on Klonoa...it contains a lot of spoilers if you have not played through it yet, however:

Next to Racketboy, this is quickly becoming my favorite site for essays related to video games.

Nice article! Abadox was always one of my favorite NES shmups. I'm always overjoyed to see it get the love it deserves.

I know we have some Bionic Commando (NES) fans on this site, and there is a great new article on the game here:

I hope that each of you - and particularly the Bionic Commando fans - enjoy it as much as I did.
