@Ziggy - I know that the majority of gaming history has nothing to offer in the quotes department other than funny one liners, but surely since the PS2 era there have been a whole load of story driven games with increasingly more developed characterizations in them. Surely some of these characters have moved some of us at some point?

Final Fantasy XII has a lot of nice quotes from Balthier. Especially when he's playing off of the other characters.
