Yesterday's LRG3 presentation wasn't bad. I'm casually interested in a few of their announced titles. I was not expecting them to rerelease D for 3DO. If you missed the stream, you can check their twitter feed for the list of announced titles. https://twitter.com/limitedrungames

I like that they’re rereleasing some old titles in digital formats for the Switch (e.g., Rendering Ranger R2). Apparently, they’re also going to make me buy one more 3DS game! (I own Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D digitally, but I won’t be able to resist a physical copy.)

Thanks for sharing the link to the Limited Run presentation, bmoc. Definitely a lot of interesting games being re released by them. That Shadowrun Trilogy collection has piqued my interest. Heard good things about those games.

River City Girls 2 and Shredder's Revenge are also on my radar. That Blade Runner adventure game looks fun too.

Added the Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Broadcast to the list. I think it is highly likely that we will get come FFVII Remake part 2 news based on tweets from the official FFVIIR twitter. https://twitter.com/finalfantasyvii

Life is keeping me pretty busy and I haven't had time to comb through all the news yesterday. I haven't watched the Devolver Digital presentation but I plan to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5V8pOc0Ljc I need to watch the trailers from yesterday but I am pretty hyped for Shredder's Revenge. I'm glad they added Casey Jones and 6 player was a nice surprise as well. Release is less than a week away now but I am probably going to hold out for a physical edition. No idea how long we'll have to wait for that from Limited Run.

I'm interested in Stormgate but I'm always wary of F2P games. Hopefully they will do it right. The Alien game could be cool but there are so few good Alien games, I'm not holding my breath.

LMAO. It went up for preorder shortly after I posted that. It will still probably take them a minute to produce the copies.

Unless things change, it looks like Shredder's Revenge and Final Vendetta will both release next Friday, the 17th (EDIT: Actually I just saw Shredders Revenge listed for the 16th). I sincerely hope they are as good as they appear to be. Final Vendetta's soundtrack sounds really good, clearly heavily inspired by the Streets of Rage series. Could potentially be a very fun weekend for beat 'em up fans. We're getting the best of both worlds. A classic, Konami style beat'em up and a Capcom/Sega-esque game in the vein of Final Fight and Streets of Rage. Here are the most recent trailers, along with a sample of that awesome Final Vendetta soundtrack:

Thanks for sharing the info for the Final Vendetta game, Justice. That game wasn't previously on my radar, but it looks fun too. I'm a fan of Bitmap Bureau's previous release Xeno Crisis, which was ported on a lot of different platforms. I'm hoping this game gets the same treatment and appears on some older hardware too. The soundtrack is also sounding good!

...I passed on Final Vendetta b/c I didn't know too much about it but it's good to hear that seems to be very solid. I'll have to try find a copy at a decent price once the game becomes available.

There are some pretty credible rumors going around that there will be a Nintendo Direct on the 29th.

I'm really curious about what we will see at Capcom's presentation today. They had a really strong showing in Sony's State of Play. I wonder if it will be new stuff or just in-depth looks at previously announced titles.

I watched Devolver Digital's presentation (hilarious as always) and The Plucky Squire looks amazing.

Give it a look if you haven't. It's like Puppeteer meets A Link Between Worlds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGwAtbQIC_8 Cult of the Lamb is shaping up nicely. I might give that one a try too.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct added to the list. Rumors are still circulating about a regular Direct on the 29th. As a massive Xenoblade fan, I'm not sure I want to watch this (because spoilers). I probably will though...

Also, I noticed that the online Nintendo Store is undergoing maintenance again. I wonder if they are going to open up preorders again for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition? I managed to get a preorder in during that debacle and I'm still regularly checking my account to make sure it doesn't get canceled.

Added the Nintendo Direct Mini Partner showcase to the list. It airs tomorrow. It is a bit disappointing that this is a partner showcase. I was really hoping for some more 1st party Nintendo announcements.

There are also rumors of another State of Play this month that will be focused on God of War Ragnarok.
