Apparently, you can watch one of the Detective Conan series on Freevee, and my daughter marathoned it. He solves MURDERS, making the series much darker than something you’d expect from a series starring a child detective.

Yes!!!! I didn't realize this until I played the first GBC game.

Also, the anime has 1055 total episodes.

I bought Terranigma for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

So, since I live in the United States, I bought myself a Reproduction Cartridge of Terranigma. After playing through Illusion of Gaia again and already beaten Soul Blazer, I think it was time to start on Terranigma. Also, with the rising prices of SNES games, buying a Reproduction Cart was actually cheaper than some other games. I have heard mostly good reviews about Terranigma, but I have heard a few negative ones here and there. I will be very curious to try for myself and to complete the Quintet/Gaia trilogy on the SNES.

Great game. I've got a repro cart too, plus a Japanese cart. The PAL version is way too pricey.

What's this look like playa?

Sorry for the delayed response, I was waiting for a few bits to arrive before I could show it off!

This is the shell for the consolised arcade board, and the arcade board itself:
Image

Here's what the kit looks like when all the internals are assembled. The board in the middle is the MVS MV1C arcade board , and then everything else except the shell is part of the kit. I've removed the heatsink from the arcade board, replaced the battery holder with a flatter one, and solder some audio cables to the sound chip on the right. Thats the extent of the soldering, everything else is just plug and play!

Image

This is what it looks like all assembled with the shell closed up (ignore the dust and wire nest, It's on my to-do list...):

And here's the game in action:

Wow! It's so small!

I had no idea SNK made a Neo Geo arcade board so tiny. Is it only a single PCB?

The only Neo Geo arcade systems I have messed with were both four-slots with two stacked PCBs.

When I installed the battery holder on mine, I actually installed it on the underside of the board, just in case something weird happened. That said, I don't think a proper CR2032 is capable of leaking, so it's probably a non-issue. I think my first CR 2032 lasted about 7 years.
Systems: TI-99/4a, Commodore Vic-20, Atari 2600, NES, SMS, GB, Neo Geo MVS (Big Red 4-slot), Genesis, SNES, 3DO, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GBA, GCN, NDSi, Wii
