I mean, it feels short even for that generation. It’s not like it gets a lot harder or faster or anything. There’s like 4 screens and boom. Start over.

Got a few more cheap Wii games. It seems like there's tons of hidden treasure. Added a bunch to my eBay watchlist but today I got the following:

Phineas and Ferb
SSX Blur
Monster Lab

So, so much hidden treasure on the Wii. The system’s library is so deep, and there are so many exclusives.

…..

The other day, I got two brand new copies of:

Earth Defend (Sega Genesis)
Funny World & Balloon Boy (Sega Genesis)

They’re both unlicensed Genesis games published by Realtek in the 1990s. They’re actually pretty OK games, and they’re still remarkably cheap since I don’t think many people know they exist. If I get one more game - Mallet Legends Whac-a-Critter - I’ll have a complete collection!)

Mr Do's castle is a pretty fun puzzle game I'm still trying to figure out all the rules on. Gateway to Apshai looks like a primitive dungeon crawler. waiting on a controller insert for that one. basically return fire adds to my small boxed 3do collection. somebody actually accepted a fair price on for make an offer. those people are usually clowns on decent offers.

Return Fire! I only have a few 3DO games but this is one of them. The cover art's awesome on the 3DO port. Loved this game when I was young. Also played it a bunch on the PS1.

Awesome pick-ups. I'd like to get some more homebrew and unlicensed games for the Genesis. That unlicensed Korean shmup Uzu Keobukseon looks really good IMO.

...since I missed sharing my April pickups, I just went ahead and rolled April and May together. I'm geeked to start finding/acquiring more Genesis stuff again even if some those are low hanging fruit like SFII CE or Sonic Spinball.

Nice pick-ups, Syndicate! Love Comix Zone, finally was able to finish it in 2019 after all this time. I'm also curious about Dungeon and Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun. Seems like a fun game, curious to hear your thoughts on it. R-Type Final 2 is also on my want list, have heard good things and the gameplay looks good.

Enjoy the new pick-ups!
