I honestly can't get into JRPGs because of their slow setup, mediocre plots, and grinding. I might have finally found one that is super special, but I doubt if most people would count it as a JRPG: Everywhere Road Trip. I absolutely love its charm and the overall gameplay of it is driving me (not intended) to be a completionist.

...I'm still working on getting my Fire Shark skills back up plus doing the weekly Forza Horizon 5 stuff. I also started Astro's Playroom and have Ghostrunner on deck as well.

I'm playing Tunic (Xbox/PC). Loving it so far. Just made it to another boss.

Picked up Soul Hackers on the 3DS eShop weekend before last. The localization is really strong (aside from some offensive stereotypes which were really unnecessary and could have been changed from the original Japanese without issue). It's a very fun, engrossing game, IMO.

It really is a little darling of a game. It takes the best aspects of classic Zelda, along with a touch of Dark Souls to make a fun, charming game. (And worry not, attacking does not cost stamina, just blocking and dodge rolling.) Exploration, puzzles, and mystery keep me coming back. And finding the pages of the old school, NES-like instruction manual delight. Even after I finish my first playthru, I'm betting I will start playing it again to see what I missed.

It's on Gamepass if any of you subscribe to that service to try it out.

I got Carrion in the latest GOG sale. Pretty fun little game. You're basically the monster from every sci-fi movie. You crawl through vents and eat people when they have their back turned. Although, I'm to the point now where enemies have stronger weapons so you can't just bum-rush them all. I think it's available on consoles but I'd probably recommend PC for this one. I think you need mouse controls for better precision.
