It is an issue. I'm trying to plan out a set of videos but I'm always recording the TV using a camera which is seen by many as bush league and will turn people off any videos I do which is a shame because I went to the effort of buying the original hardware because I know how much people hate the use of emulators in these videos.

I just bought a copy of Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 for $40 on Amazon. Deep, deep discount since it's an old version. That should get you in the game without completely breaking the bank.

Here's a link if you're interested:

I'm sort of new here. I used to be a member here back when I was 17, I recently got back into reading the forums and finally got over my laziness and re-registered. (I can't begin to remember my old stuff.) Anyway, for those that are interested, my link is in my signature.

I think this may be my favorite spam comment of all-time (caught in the wordpress filter thankfully).

Lot of "march madness" names from spammers this time of March too.

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

Well, then.

One day I'm going to post my list of "random stuff people look for and end up in my blog".

Let's just say that XCOM is not the search word

So I was thinking about adding some content to my blog (which really, I want to be more like an encyclopedia of some kind rather than me giving my thoughts on things), and with the discussion going on in the random thoughts thread, I thought I'd ask...

Any random requests or ideas? Game reviews? Information/guide posts ideas? Stuff about Japan-only gaming you personally have searched for but haven't found adequate information on? Basically I want the blog to be focused on Japan-only games, from all eras, but more-so retro stuff.

Here's the blog by the way, it will give you an idea of what I'm looking to create. There's barely anything there, but yeah, I am looking to add more.

You can view my blog here http://gameover-johnny.blogspot.com/.

This is a collectors blog it follows my quest to own every North American Sega Console Games, but the fact I collect Sega isn't that important. I cover how I go about collecting where I look, pitfalls ect. In general It's an information heavy blog, not so much of a hey I just bought this game blog.

Haven't read all the pages in this topic, so excuse me if someone already mentioned this, but there is a blog option that could be implemented in the site. Some sites with a similar layout have both 'blogs' and 'personal blogs' options...

Something like this:

User Control Panel • 0 new messages • Chat • Blogs • My Blog • FAQ • Search • Members • Logout [ elmagicochrisg ]

Retro Gaming Nation review blog

Post by KesselRunPDX »

Just wanted to share my review blog with everyone:

Retro Gaming Nation: http://retrogamingnation.blogspot.com/

So far I only have a few reviews up, but I'm basically going through, reviewing consoles, accessories and games for the various systems I own and giving my thoughts, historical relevance to gaming, how things work and where you can find them/buy them for a decent amount.

Any comments or ideas would be fantastic, thanks!
