Any particular reason you would want less people to enjoy a great game?
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.
Re: Watermelon Pier Solar HD Kickstarter
I have the genesis version. But would LOVE to play this game in 640x480 resolution via my wonderful Dreamcast. Here's hoping they make use of other wonderful gaming peripherals like the Jump Pak, VMU (other than saving I mean).

I'm sure this will piss off anyone who spent multiple hundreds of dollars obtaining their Genesis cart.
Looks very nice in "HD", whatever that means these days. I wouldn't mind seeing it come to Steam with some achievements.

Pier Solar was originally designed and developed for the SEGA Mega Drive & SEGA Genesis. Yes, you read that right!! It was actually the only newly developed game for SEGA's 16-bit system in the new millennium.
Wait, what? Is this actually true? Surely there had to have been some other notable Genesis homebrew games released in the past 10 years or so...

I know Super Fighter Team did translations of existing games, but I'm not aware of any original development. I'm sure there were small test games, but nothing in the scope of what Pier Solar was.

Im def throwing down 125 for the Limited edition dreamcast version with guidebook and lithograph and figurines, and i already own the genesis version. I just hope it comes in an official looking jewel case not dvd like the other homebrews.

This would make a beautiful addition to my DC collection. I'll keep it in mind.

im pretty sure they already did when they re released it in a clamshell for just $50, thats when i bought mine, but im pretty sure the first print version will always be worth alot of money since its a very limited edition.
