I wasn't suggesting getting rid of TR. I'm just saying it could need to be adjusted. If you want me to start making suggestions, instead of just pointing out potential issues, I was thinking of maybe quarterly challenges, kind of like the summer games challenge, probably where three are rotating, and the summer games challenge just becomes part of TR. Another thought I had was just compiling a bunch of topics, and using some sort of auto-generator for each month. It would potentially alleviate some of the burden/obligation for people hosting a month. Members pretty much police themselves on fitting games to the topic, and I don't think I've seen a host actually tell someone that they couldn't play a game they wanted to for a TR month.

I'm not saying these changes need to be made right now, either. There's still time to let things play out, and see if there are enough people who want to host a month for next year.

If Gladatorial Combat month allows American Gladiators then I'm down for it.

I do suggest we do a “runner up” month twice during the year (i.e., June and December).

I like that idea. 2 Runner-Up months, 10 regular months, and a whole lot of themed gaming.
