There's a pretty cheap Double Dragon Trilogy on steam, it even supports online multiplayer, it has limited continues but once you reach certain stage you can level select it, the UI is amazing as well, if anybody cares to give it a go, i'm all show.

I think I voted for Pre-Halo FPS games, but I have no objections to Beat'em Ups and 8-bit platformers.

Have you guys checked out Raging Justice?
I'm very pleased after playing it this week, at first the art style was a let down but it grew on me the more i played.
Retro gamer got an amazing interview on it's last issue and i recommend it, the arrest and dash/escape maneuver are great and feels very fresh.
Here's some pics:

The Saturn has a great hidden gem brawler called 3 Dirty Dwarves, and it supports up to 3 players at a time. Seriously underrated title with a fantastic sense of humor.

I accidentally beat The Bouncer (2001 / PS2) ahead of schedule last night. I was just trying to get a head start on June, then I'd already beaten the game before I knew it. Seriously The Bouncer takes barely over an hour to finish. I'll save the review for the actual TR thread though.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
