I'm happy to take November if there are no objections.

Alright! We have our themed-month-volunteer-contributors sorted for 2018. 8)

The next step is to set up the voting threads for each month, in which the volunteer throws their theme ideas into a voting booth, and the community decides which of their themes stick for that month. AJ already created a good example of how that can work. Obviously we don't all need to make our individual voting threads simultaneously. Personally speaking, I think each member should start their theme voting thread the month prior to when their actual month takes place. If this works for you all, it works for me.

Wait, do we have to do a voting thread? If, for example, I just wanted to do “1990s PC games with manatees in them” for July, do I also have to provide other options and have people vote?

I would still make an announcement thread with suggestions so people can track down games and prepare.

I thought the consensus was to do voting threads. No?
