BoneSnapDeez wrote:May - Puzzle - Puzzle Fighter - Is this on Capcom Puzzle World for PSP? If so I may pick that up soon.
Jun - Action - Megaman X - Another expensive one from what I recall. I'm out.
Aug - Pinball - Pinball Arcade - I have no idea what this is.
Nov - Wildcard 2 - Grim Fandango - Again, I'm not familiar with this one.

Not sure on Capcom Puzzle World, but might be worth finding out

Megaman X might be cheaper on the collection for PS2 etc, although I dunno how much that costs

Pinball Arcade is a collection of real pinball tables made into a virtual pinball game.

You honestly don't know Grim Fandango? It's a point and click adventure game by LucasArts and Tim Schafer where you play as Death, sorta.

Pinball Arcade is free on iOS, Android, and Steam with one of the best tables ever made:

Then you can buy new tables in groups or in bulk. Odds are we will do highscore challenges on some of the bigger tables, and a couple of the lesser knowns. I mean, by the time we get to it, Addams Family will be released.

Feb - Wildcard - River City Ransom - Eh... I dunno about this one. I don't own it and it's a tad pricey.

RCR is a great beat 'em up/RPG hybrid, and you should play it. I will mail you my copy of the GBA version if you promise to send it back!

You can get a brand new copy of Mega Man X Collection (PS2) for $14 shipped.
BoneSnapDeez wrote:Sept - Sports - Mario Golf - Yup! Game Boy Color.

The GBC version is simply the best. I would play this, but I spent dozens of hours with it a few years ago.

This LucasArts adventure game was designed by Tim Schafer, who would later develop games like Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Costume Quest, etc. It is widely considered the best LucasArts adventure game - which is akin to being called Nintendo's best platformer - and it is often listed among the best video games in any genre.

That's how I'll be playing it. Thanks, Noise!

a word on Puzzle Fighter... certain versions are just the arcade port, while others contain the bonus unlockables. These are stand-alone levels where you must do 5 challenges for each character to unlock cool stuff. The GBA version has this mode. As does the PS1 version (I'm pretty sure). The PSN/XBLA, PSP versions do not. I'm fairly certain the Saturn version doesn't? Been a while, so not sure on that one. The PC version, I'll find out this year. I'm pretty sure that's the only port of Puzzle Fighter I've yet to play through.

Half of these games were suggested by me, and thus chosen well.

Next year you all need to up that percentage though.
