Another thing - if you have more than 3 fields producing the same item, each one gets an additional unit. Pair that up with keeping your productions right next to or above/below each other one.

I hope more people will play this.

Wasn't gonna play this game, but I'm a little interested now after seeing these posts.

Gonna emulate it on my Wii.

EDIT:
WOW  This game is REALLY hard to understand, or maybe I'm just dumb.

Final results, with an improvement this time. Overall the colony survived, even with the times we were low on food and energy.

This was my first playthrough on the Tournament level. If I had bought some more land, I might have been OK and possibly could have placed better. The store fires didn't help either, as the price for MULEs went as high as $500 due to low Smithore stocks. I didn't do as much Smithore as the CPU did (again), they just hoard it at the end so that their Goods score increases. But, ASSAY as often as you can, and study the assays that the CPU does. Even a Medium-assayed Crystite field can yield quite a bit, but the 3 planetquakes didn't do me any favors either as Crystite is a mining activity. Remember that Crystite isn't a store commodity, the price is determined on the market outside of the planet, so hold your units if the going price in the current month is below $100.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense but it's also very unexpected! The question now is; what's better? This, or Planet Steam?
