If you don't like the music, mute it in the options and listen to something else while you play.

Aren't there rips out there with replaced music?
IIRC, it was one of those games that was relatively easy to swap out music.
I was going to make up my own mix back in the day, but never got around to it.

It's quite hard to describe but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straight forward. Do the crazy bowling exercise in the Crazy Box mode. If you can master that you can do it everytime.

Basically, what I do is steer in the opposite direction to the way I want to turn in my drift, let go of the accelerator, hit reverse, then press drive and accelerator at the same time whilst steering in the direction you want to go. To break it down further, for example if you want to crazy drift round a 90 degree bend that goes to the right you do this:

steer left
let go of accelerator
hit reverse (the a button in standard controls)
hit drive (b button in standard controls) + accelerator + steer right.

I basically just rub my finger from a to b whilst letting go of the accelerator momentarily and then pressing it again. That entire action should take less than a tenth of a second to do, otherwise you won't drift and will either just steer normally or crazy dash into a wall.

I gave up. I think. I mean there's still 2 weeks. So who knows. But I don't find it all that fun. Been playing some Monkey Ball instead.

I love Crazy Taxi, it was the first game I got when I got my Dreamcast earlier this month. The music of the Offspring always reminds me of my childhood. I could never Crazy Drift the first time around but I can do most things now and keep picking it up, so far my record is 7k, im going to try and break 10k, not impressive I know but before this month I had never ever had a Class A license so leaps and bounds ahead.

here comes a little shameless chest pounding video... 128 people, score: 43 785. At the end you'll notice there are no more people left in the area.

Projector is Epson EH-TW4500, recorded with GoPro2.
