Re: ElkinFencer10's "Me Too" Gaming Blog
I decided to be smart and list my reviews in alphabetical order instead of the order I wrote them on the various systems' pages on my blog to make searching for a specific review easier (since I'm not going to pay them to let me have an actual search function unless people actually start reading my blog). Figured it would be a bit more user-friendly.

yeah, that's why I actually went with the non-blog front page so that I could just have all the titles alphabetical. Then I just use the blog side as an update section. This probably comes from growing up in a time before blogs were a thing.

I like having the main page be the blog itself, but yeah, it just seemed to make more sense for me to have them alphabetized in my console archive pages.

Not a game review, per se, but I just added a blog post reviewing HD Retrovision's Genesis component cables.

Re: ElkinFencer10's "Me Too" Gaming Blog
I decided that I wanted to have a number score of some kind but that traditional 1-5 or 1-10 scales were boring and mundane. So I'm using the Nep scale. It's basically the same thing, but I score a game between 1 Nep and 5 Neps.

Re: ElkinFencer10's "Me Too" Gaming Blog
that is funny. I don't use scores for mine, but in general if I were to score something it's basically the same scale that I use in my head.
1 = I hate it.
2 = I don't really like it.
3 = I like it.
4 = I like it a lot.
5 = I love it.

I mainly just wanted an excuse to shove Neptune into everything.

Good blog - nice balance of screenshots and you don't over-write (which is a thing sometimes).
I also agree, 1943 rules.

I loved this when you first posted it at RFGeneration (I def remember part I - maybe it was here and not RFG).
This is not an example of over-writing. Over-writing is just fluff for the sake of fluff. Yours is an actual narrative built around the feelings associated with open world exploration. Quite good.
