Replacement Bluray cases.

Post by jp1 »

I'm looking for an affordable option to replace these awful enviro-cases. I want solid high quality commercial grade cases only. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Amazon has a good variety of cases.

These sound like some of the better quality ones.

Thanks, I was hoping to buy in bulk for a discount. I have at least 50 I'd like to re-case. This is a start though. I'd rather know they are good quality than end up with a box of junk.

Yeah I'm kind of surprised there aren't more buying options then the 10 pack since reviews for most of the other cases specifically mentioned Amaray. There is a 100 pack available but it is the three disc cases which are 1mm thicker and have the swinging extra two disc holder that I'm pretty sure is removable.

I checked their main site to see if any other distributors were listed and it looks like they only sell directly to wholesellers/retail.

Thanks again, I saw a different set but they had mixed reviews. I might have to just buy them 10 at a time. I didn't look through the reviews for the triple cases yet to verify the middle piece can be removed.

I've gotten CD cases from these guys that worked out well. They have pretty good volume discounts. Shipping is pricey but still likely to be cheaper than buying 5 of the Amazon 10-pack.

Thanks fellas, it turns out that viva elite is the preferred standard. I found them for a nice price at discmakers.com $44 shipped for 100 in my case. These are apparently top quality, at least according to some folks at the bluray collectors forums. Amaray was mentioned as well, it seems to come down to a preference in thickness.

Girth matters, or so I've heard. :)

Edit: I tried to use the tapatalk emoticon and it placed "SMILEY FACE WITH MOUTH OPEN" after that sentence.

I just recently purchased a pack from this eBay seller

The quality is excellent. As good or better than standard retail cases. I order all of my blu-ray shipped, so unfortunately, some crack cases in the mail. As such, I often need to replace cases. I recommend this seller.
