Are the Killzone 3 controls any better than 2?

I've been slowly trying to go through all my 360 and PS3 games that only have one or two achievements. I only had a single one in Killzone 2 so...... I tried it out. Good god, these controls!! Even using "high precision," and the alt 1 preset, I just cant. I think I am around half way in the game, but its just torture. Shame as it would be a pretty decent dude bro game with normal controls. Anyways, is 3 any better? I have two trophies for that one, lol.
