So... I bought a Memory Card Plus from Estarland.com and it doesn't seem to work.. Is there some sorta special way to get it working? Came with no instrustions or anything. I tried looking online and found nothing, can anyone help? or is it just broken?

your only option is a Sega Brand Memory Card. They are the only ones you can save directly too. I found two on ebay just right now. They are available for what seems to be for the remainder of today almost from Great Britain. I believe they are region free as well.

No, there are unofficial direct-save memory cards out there as well.

As far as I know, unofficial mem cards will compress data on the fly and tend to get corrupted

There is rarely a third party product that outdoes a first party version, and Saturn memory cards no exception. If you stay Sega - you stay safe. Wow, what a slogan. :)

I never said the unofficial ones are better then the official ones. I only said they support direct-saving.

Of course it doesn't apply for Sony. Their PS1 cards died on me just like any knock off.
