by Ludecris Sat Jul 22, 2006 9:50 pm

I recently acquired a Sega Nomad from a thift store for 5.99, this was the most amazing deal I've ever seen. When I got it home it woulndn't power up, i changed the ac adapter andstill nothing. Was this a regular problem for the Nomad? And how would i fix this? Any help is appreciated!

This may sound dumb, but did you check the contrast?

well it could be fixable... especially to make something out of that great deal you got.

I would need much more information though. Not just "It won't turn on"... sorry, but just look at that question and think about it. The thing is a underground cult classic console worshipped by a majority of people who know nothing about the actual technological side of it so the amount of information out there is limited. Figuring out what is wrong can range from something as mundaine as "Contrast turned down" all the way up to "Completely fried" with things like "Burnt LCD, blown fuse, bad AC/DC adapter" floating in between. - check out my blog
