Another DC Burning question (Sorry!)

I found an image for DC-X, so I downloaded it, and of course, it's a .ccd file.

So I looked in this thread, http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2413 and gave SegaK2's method a try.

When I turn on the DC, the DC logo screen just stays on indefinitely. When I start up the DC with no disk, and then on the DC menu, I put the DC-X CD in, it just says "Please wait while disc is being checked". This is also displayed indefinitely.

The files that came in the .zip are:
gen-dc-x.ccd
gen-dc-x.sub
gen-dc-x.img

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Try Alcohol 120% yet?

Well....yeah. Alcohol 120% was used in SegaK2's tutorial, and it still didn't work.
