Grinnell Falls

Spotted a moose

The next day we spotted a bear!

Awesome. But stay over there, Mr. Bear. After that, we went for a walk up to Hidden Lake. There were a lot of animals to be seen.
Ground Squirrels were everywhere.

But they posed so purty I had to take a picture of them.Birds were abundant, too.

And then, what did I spy coming up over the ridge?

Goats!
And even better?

Baby goat! I was so happy
They didn't seem bothered by us at all.

Just kept going on their way.
So fluffy...One would think, with all the people taking pictures of it, that the baby goat would be bothered. But he seemed more bemused, than anything.

This one snuck up on us at some point while the other two were walking merrily on their way.

Marvel at his cuteness, damn it.Pretty sure they all just came up to get a drink of water.

There were also sheep up on the ridge

Sat down for a snack and were harassed by this little bugger

At least it was pretty up there.

Waterton was nice, too. But there were fires blazing while we were up there, so we only had a couple mornings where we could do any exploring without fear of coughing up a lung.

At least we got to get up close and personal with the sheep, who came down from the mountain just as we had reached the end of the trail and were starting to head back.

They're cool, but their eyes are kind of freaky. This was clearly not their first rodeo, cause they kept looking down the trail to see if anyone else was coming.

Most of them ran off, but this one seemed to be waiting for us to leave.
