Books!
Re: Books!
Read Christopher Pike's "Whisper of Death", in which five teens discover they are the only people left in their small town that are left in the whole world. No one else seems to be alive, not even animals, but they may not be alone.
While I've only read three of Pike's novels, this is probably my favorite so far.

Finished Blossoms 666, which collects all five issues of the Archie Horror miniseries, which was enjoyable yet seemed to end too soon. Suffice it to say, I hope we more of this series that pits the Blossom twins as competitors for the title of The Antichrist.
Re: Books!
Read the original Spring Awakening, a play by Frank Wedekind. Written in the 1890s yet somehow still relevant, the story revolves around a group of German teens struggling with the sexually repressive society they live in.
It would receive a handful of adaptations, the most noteworthy being the famed Broadway musical written by Steven Sater, with music by '90s rocker Duncan Sheik.

We commissioned my dad to build some custom bookshelves for us. The man does good work.

Dang, those really are some nice shelves!
I dream of someday having enough room for all my books.

I've read a few of his books, my favourite being Remember Me.
I've bought the first Murderbot book on kindle while it's cheap, so I'm planning on reading that.

Re: Books!
Was in the mood for a physical book read & feeling sci fi space epic.
After some research I landed on The Praxis: Dread Empire's Fall by Walter Jon Williams. There's currently 8 books in the universe and a 9th in the works.
I'll report back how it is. Have company this weekend so will probably start Monday.

So about 1/4 way done with Praxis. Interesting so far. I think I'm going to give it a 2 book chance to build steam, but not commit to all 9 yet.
