Oh man, you're really tempting me to go out and pick up the BD Enhanced Edition, chief...

Do iiit. New BG expansion! They even have a nice, albeit pricey, physical collectors edition.

I'm quite surprised a game that old is getting an expansion. Certainly tempting... but I already own the D&D Anthology discs. Can the expansion work as a standalone, or with prior versions of the game?

EDIT: Reading more carefully, my guess is it'll only work with EE. Bummer.

Right now on Steam, the main BGEE is $5. So you could get it and the new expansion for $25

My latest interview with 1 of the 2 sibling developers for Arcadian Atlas. As a Tactics Ogre and FFT fan, I am looking forward to this one:

hey John, how's Banner Saga 2? I heard the battle system is more interesting in this one.

I really think they botched the release. It should have came out in the Winter. I'm not in the mood to play a snow-covered game just as Spring Fever kicks in. But it'll be *chilling* on my want-list for sure.

So far so good. I haven't played it as much as I wanted to yet. Maps seem bigger, more varied configurations and win conditions.

also, if I followed your rules, I'd never get to play a snow game here!

I have an interview in the works with Stoic that should drop here in the next week or so.

Almost forgot to post this. My interview with Stoic for Banner Saga 2 went up a few days ago.

I also, as of Jan this year, am a regular participant in the RPGamer RPGcast almost every Saturday morning. We stream it live on the site and twitch at noon eastern, or you can catch the recordings later.

Conducted an interview with Chris Avellone. Discuss recent RPGs, his future plans, and life as a free-lance developer.
