Nice! Indeed you have. Congrats on nabbing those 2 already.
Yeah its a toss up on which is the harder to find outta the 3 Midway release in this category. After that i'd say THPS. Then it's all simply SEGA First party titles and the Sega Sports series. I honestly have had all 18 titles for a very long time. I was one of the few back in the old days that simply loved the SAS variants. My SAS copy of Powerstone is very same one I purchased when it was 1st released. I always thought there was something really cool in their design.

Yeah, I figured I would start with knocking out the hardest before I wasted my time too much with the lesser ones. It was nice knowing that I already had one of the tricky ones. I'm pretty sure I bought the Power Stone one for $20 or less at Best Buy after the console had been discontinued.

These are a nice little subset. Other than Sonic Adventure and like one of the sports games, I don't have standard versions of the games yet, so it's also a nice way to round out my collection.

Interesting Update. I find this topic strangely fascinating. Maybe in the future the "Sega All Stars" complete set will be the equivalent of the NES "black box" set or the Genesis "grid line" set.

Isn't the Grid Line set huge?

Also: is it weird that I wish there was an All Stars version of Space Channel 5 (without the lenticular printing - that always bothered me on the NTSC release) and of Jet Grind Radio?

It's certainly bigger than the NES black box thirty. That's why there are so few examples of complete sets.

I'm not going to pretend I know off-hand how many titles are in that "grid line" set. Hold on, let me google it...

Edit: OK, looks like there are 98 "grid line" boxes in North America. These titles were all published between August 1989 and December 1992 in North America. These numbers are different in PAL land.

In any case, yes your point is valid. The "grid line" set is indeed huge. For such a huge list, there are a lot more good games than bad; there's more wheat than chaff so to speak.
