Nintendo custom shells?
Is there anywhere you can recommend that makes new shells for nintendo consoles. I'd love to have a full set of clear consoles (like the old game boy pockets) but obviously i cant just paint my console that colour. I think the Nintendo 64 was the only home console to be released in clear colours, so...

Re: Battered Dreamcast Shelter
i agree about the DC controller, im not a big fan too.
no nintendo love on those converted dreamcasts i see. shame, a purple and black GC DC would've looked cooler, even if it would be just as pointless

Re: Who else is excited and scared for the new PUNCH OUT?
it has motion controls AND nes style controls
the motion controls looks OK actually.only the punches use the motion, all the more intricate stuff nuses the analogue stick still

sonic adventure DX for gamecube contains 12 game gear sonic games.
Star wars rogue squadron 3 contains rogue squadron 2 in two player only, but also has the original 3 wire frame arcade games hidden inside it.

Re: Space Harrier?
If you have it in mame, why bother with inferior console ports? Seems kinda silly to me. This is probably true for Space Harrier in particular, but there are some games which are improved in consoles - if they can port the game accurately and offer something else for example (extra modes, better mu...

Re: How do you organize yr GB/GBA collection?
hey guys, sorry to revive this old post, but i have something to add. Rather than modding US DS cases to fit these old games, you'll have a much easier time with the PAL cases. I did a few tests with the Rhythm paradise case and a copy of metroid 2. the PAL cases are much deeper, and because of this...

Re: Video game discrimination.
im at uni now (in the UK) and the only person i've found who has negative opinions on video games is (ironically) one of my media lecturers. in fact, a random presentation group i was put in the other day ended up spending half an hour talking about pokemon. I dont think that many people i've ever m...

Re: UMD/PSP(Patapon 2) games to be digitally distributed...ONLY!
The big problem i see here, and possibly this is something sony haven't considered, is that game stores will be losing LOTS of revenue from the lack of A)retail hard copies of games, and B)2nd hand games. especially the 2nd hand games, which is generally a bigger market for game stores than brand ne...

Re: Pokemon Red vs. Fire Red
it dpends on how much pokemon you want to play. if you intend to try all the series, i'd say start with red, as it can be hard to get into after the improvements in the later ones. if you just want to play a pokemon game, fire red is probably the better one. its also worth noting that the pokemon ca...
