Re: Akira Toriyama has passed away
I think I said before, but I think Dragon Ball is better as a manga than an anime. The pacing is much better. I read through all of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z about ten years ago and loved all of it. I have actually been wanting to read through it again with my son, though I'd probably skip a cou...

Re: Board Styles disappeared?
That's a bummer.
AcidTech is the only style available on the board that I don't find difficult to read.

Re: So what have you guys been watching lately?
I grew tired of the constant parade of celebrity guest stars. Like, for a while, every single episode had a guest star and it just became exhausting. It felt like they were writing episodes around whoever they could get that week. One episode in particular was when Simon Cowell was judging babies f...

Board Styles disappeared?
Hello!
I think something happened to the "board styles" user setting. Half of the styles just throw "not found" errors and revert you back to the Racketboy v3 style.
Is there any chance of getting these back?

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
yeah but then you get finicky stuff like the bad prints like we have seen on hd-dvd. I never heard issues on DVD or Bluray unless the batch itself had manufacturing issues. I kind of like to stay with the flow and avoid obscure tech just for compatibility and quality assurance. but I have to say th...

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
It seems nuts to me that if you want to look up reviews or opinions of games, that in most cases, the information you find (the consensus) on the game is based on outdated information. It seems nuts to me that publishers will push a broken game out the door to meet a release date and absorb all of ...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
You know that feeling when you buy a game with the intent to play it, but don't quite get around to it, but it stays on your shortlist, and then one day you see that a remake is coming out?
It's kind of weird.

Hydlide, games for people who hate fun. Hey, I kind of like the one on NES.... I also kind of liked it. I didn't love it. I didn't think it was a great game, but I played it and had fun with it. That said, I would have been pretty upset if I'd spent much money on it. But I feel that way about a lot...

Why is her pony tail hanging down like that as she's presumably flying through the air?

Re: Genre of the Month (FEB 2024 TR) - Simply Simulated
Real governments are also boring as hell. That's part of why sim games go for idealized or cut-down models. That said, sim games typically set up a bunch of mathematical systems and let you play in the sandbox in a way that's arguably quite different from other games, except perhaps in the case of ...
