Re: Games Acquired 2014

Got an ebay bargain. Cod mw2, mw3, black ops and moh war fighter for 12.50 delivered. Already sold mw2 for a fiver.

Got some Android games as well since I finally updated to an s4 but nothing worth mentioning really.

Re: Walking Dead the game

I just watched playthroughs on youtube

Yeah pretty good though. Better than I expected, and I wasn't even playing them. Its pretty obvious what you have to do though, its not really challenging.

Still a good story point and clicker.

Re: My AV Famicom with rgb, s-video, composite, stereo sound wit

its amazing how good you can get the old consoles to work. My only real experience is with the megadrive (genesis), overclocked, jap/eng switch, 50/60 hz and the composite out/stereo mods. Transformed the thing. If only they had done this when they were new all consoles would have sold better and it...

easiest way to check for a cd drive fault is turn the unit upside down, if its better then adjusting the screw as mentioned can help.

Re: New to Commodore 64 and Amiga - Help?

ALL Amiga games come on floppy, ok later ones for the 1200 and the cd32 came on disc but thats no use to you as the 500 won't play any of them. The Amiga is much faster loading, however some games have lots of discs, SF2 has 4 discs and Beneath a steel Sky has 15! And yes you have to swap them frequ...

Re: PS2 SCART drastically superior to component?

being in a PAL country therefore SCART is the standard issue connection. Moving from the RGB scart (which caused movies to play with a green tint but fine for games...) to the component leads was a massive improvement. This is unusual as full rgb scart is usually top notch. This was backed up by cou...

Re: What single player FPS campaign are you playing?

Homefront. I saw the adverts a while back thought looks ok, might try it. My cousin has the game gave me a loan of it. 3 and a half hours later I had completed it. Really short. Graphics were pretty poor, ps2/xbox stuff here. Now graphics don't matter but they were pretty terrible which made the gam...

Re: Importance of Playing the Original Half-Life

just play HL2 on. As someone said HL2 is set 20 years later, a few characters were in Black mesa but they were not of importance really.

Also if you can get the 360 version, the PS3 version is more glitchy and slower to load than the 360 version. Well on PAL versions thats how it is anyway.
