If you managed to only spend $1400 on rent in NYC, that would leave you $1400 for all other expenses: utilities/bills, groceries, entertainment, transportation, etc.

Re: Limited Run Games shipped CD-Rs to customers
It's also a way to make money, since execs think people will pay the price regardless. A similar thing happened in the '90s with comic books after a few issues were sold between collectors for big money. Suddenly, people saw them as an investment. And companies publishing them saw buyers swooping in...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Personally I'd love to be able to splurge on a really high-end phone, but even with a decent payment plan they typically cost more than what I spend a month on rent. I hear you. Getting a bit outrageous "A bit" doesn't begin to describe. Between this and what stuff like cars cost th...

Re: How would you rank Nintendo's home consoles?
Nah, we burned out on the "Top 'X'" threads, after there was a spate of people doing them a decade or so ago. We've debated this kind of thing to death, so at this point, it's more interesting to read the ones that go against the traditional view or have jokes. Like DOOM being good on SNES.
