Re: What are you playing?

Sekiro, just beat Genichiro (guy on top of the castle). Really enjoying the open-endedness of encounters! Also playing Radiant Silvergun, which I think it even harder! I remember that fight. I had a lot of fun with Sekiro, and that battle in particular was a fun one. Just don't go jumping in the ca...

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

I agree with you, Phantasm has a dreamlike quality that definitely reminds me of Italian horror of the late-1970s. It's a crazy series, and I enjoy how ridiculous and bizarre it is. Since you enjoy it, I recommend checking out Guilio Paradisi's The Visitor. It's also a surreal experience, an Italian...

Re: Random Thoughts Thread

Hail did some serious damage to my house last night. It broke one of my windows. My siding now has several holes in it. I just had a contractor check out my roof and it looks like I will need a new one. On Tuesday, I will call the Insurance Company and begin the process. Not much I can do, but hope...

Yeah, I checked it out. It looks like the Multitap section was wiped, unfortunately. That said, it works much better on my phone than it used to. I still haven't checked it out on my desktop.

Re: I bought a 3D Printer!

Can you use something like a craft knife to successfully sever the supports? It's a pain, but it might give you the amount of precision necessary to get the job done.

Re: Racketboy Summer Games Challenge 2024

I came, I saw, I kicked alien ass. Marathon has been beaten, one more in a long list of tackled games in a genre I love. I'll have to go back and do a Total Carnage run for it at some point, but for now, my work is done. So what is the significance of Marathon? Well, it put Bungie on the map as an F...

Re: Racketboy Summer Games Challenge 2024

Haha, very interesting. Ok, so in 1991, I'm in first grade. I rented this game from the video game section of the Family Video built in a strip mall down past the grocery store, which is way better than the year before when they were still in a gas station. Plus how they have the Elvis clock with th...

Re: Racketboy Summer Games Challenge 2024

The Memorial Day weekend is often viewed as the unofficial start of Summer in the United States, so since we are there, it's time I start my challenge! I have begun with Marathon, specifically the "Classic Marathon" release on Steam. Apparently there were a few small tweaks to navigating s...
