Re: The Death of DVD
This topic is so old I got a reply notification for it . I don't know the last time I held a DVD. I have a few movies but they live in my parents basement a hundred miles away. Can't say I've really been jonesing for my LOTR set.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Thinking about this forum was kind of a random thought today so I thought I'd drop in.
But don't call it a comeback I've been here for years. Over 10 apparently. Yikes.
So hello everybody old and new. Hope you're all doing well.

Re: Xbox One
I know we're not the digital game types 'round here but anybody pick up some interesting titles during the Easter Sale? I finally decided to try Dead Island at the request of some friends. Ended up getting a few other titles here and there too - Alan Wake, Red Faction, Remember Me, and that newer Th...

On release it was supposed to be this revolutionary game. Its 7 years old now, literally ancient in the tech world.
I'm about to find out. On sale 360 BC.
I remember reading about it way back on OXBM but never saw it in person. Seems neat.

Re: Xbox One
Darksiders seems like a great Zelda-like game. I look forward to playing it again since I've never completed it. I think I got a few hours into the PC version before I ended up getting sucked into other stuff (Dragon Commander at that point I think). I was far more interested in Darksiders II but I ...

Forlorn, the only way to get un-rusty is to start again! Draw something daily. Even if it's just a doodle. It's the strategy I employ into my writing. I went nearly 8 months without writing a single thing for the sake of it. I think you'll find rediscovering an old hobby or one you've fallen out of ...

Re: Direct me to the drama please
Just to be clear, the posts from April 1st aren't jokes, correct? Good question. I'm doing well. I went for a nice walk this morning on a stretch of park that used to be old train tracks. Google search something called the High Line in NYC. Looks lovely! I would love having something like that near...

Re: Direct me to the drama please
I came in here thinking I'd be forwarded to some juicy internet drama and instead I just see a bunch of users smooching with words. Some reminiscing of days long gone. And all the while others are even having a reasonable discussion! Apparently I missed everything. I'm not having it. But as long as ...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
You're still an adult, and your journey is your own no matter what. It is a give and take, but what matters is that you get through your journey. Thanks for the encouraging words guys. They do make me feel better. And yeah, feeling that way is a terrible and useless distraction - there's no sense s...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Feeling like you're being left behind by your friends is one of the worst feelings. I guess it's inevitable - I'm a good two-three years behind most of them in education and "career" (if you can call waiting tables a career) and most of them were/are at far more prestigious schools with mu...
