PVM Always Displays "Component" In Bottom Corner
EDIT: I was able to fix this issue by going to Menu -> User Config -> Color System Display -> Off or Auto on my Sony PVM I've noticed that when using a component input, my PVM constantly displays "COMPONENT" in the bottom left corner. Anyone know if this can be turned off/disabled? https:/...

Re: Dreamcast game reset issue (specifically Giga Wing)
It's probably a disc issue. I have a similar problem with my Shenmue discs on one of my Dreamcasts. Those systems just seem pretty finicky every now and then regardless. Yeah, I went ahead and returned to my LGS. Not working on two separate consoles was enough for me to be sketched out. It's so wei...

Re: Dreamcast game reset issue (specifically Giga Wing)
hi Ghudda , maybe try a burning a rip of this game and see what happens. m Yeah, I could try that, but I'm not sure what it would accomplish. I also have tried booting it with my JP Dreamcast (un modded), and I have the same results, so it seems like it's an issue with the disc itself. It's really ...

Dreamcast game reset issue (specifically Giga Wing)
So I have a modded Dreamcast that plays both NA and JP games. Every JP game I throw at it plays fine until today. I recently picked up a JP copy of Giga Wing and whenever I turn on my DC, it gets past the DC splash screen, gets to the SEGA splash screen, then the laser resets and it rinses and repea...

Figured there was no need to start a new thread, so I'll just resurrect this one. Is anyone planning on going this year? I'll most likely be there Saturday and it'd be cool to meet up with people

Re: NAS Media Server Suggestions
Not too long ago, I was also deciding on which NAS solution would be best for me. I had just purchased a Lenovo Thinkserver which I use as a ESXi Hypervisor Host for an assortment of VMs, but was also in need of a reliable storage solution. I originally thought I would just host FreeNAS in a virtual...

yeah I really like the idea of it being this one piece of "furniture." Just gotta get creative, noise. This fellow at Overlcock had the right idea. http://imgur.com/5aEU4.jpg I can't find anything outside of the clamp solutions, and I take it you don't want to drill a hole in the top to g...

Re: How is your Game Gear gaming going?
Someone buy this white Game Gear and i'll re cap it for free! It's only at $267 atm. White Game Gears were also released, however these were not sold in stores. Only 10,000 were manufactured and were only given to developers or those directly associated with Sega. White Game Gears came with their ow...

Re: [HOW TO] Official DreamPi Thread
Updated my guide to include DreamPi v1.2 instead of 1.0. 1.2 fixed a lot of things, including the error I had described where you have to unplug and the plug your modem back in. v1.2 also includes support for Dreamcast Now! , which is a community portal for the DreamPi. I'll add some info to my guid...
