Rhythm game site Zenius-I-vanisher has a pretty good arcade directory. I'm unaware of any better ones out there.

Re: Vinyl in 2023... worth it?

IMO vinyl being "worth it" really varies from person to person. But if you have the money and space, it can sound great and be a lot of fun to collect. The world of vinyl is expansive and you can find anything from the newest, most popular artists, to forgotten gems from decades past that ...

Re: The late, great Gunstar Green

I haven't been too active lately, and I never really directly talked to him (nor have I ever been in any Slack channel) but he was certainly one of the pillars of the community and his presence will be missed.

Re: Gaming news sites

I feel like this topic could be expanded into "good places for videogame content" because I very rarely check game news sites. When I do, it's typically Silicon Era or Kotaku. But I follow some video game journalists on Twitter and feel like I absorb a lot of news that way (and they'll lin...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts

Wow, that Atari compilation is pretty rad; way more interesting than the bland 2600 collections we've seen over the years. I trust Digital Eclipse to put out a good package with more than just the games themselves. And I'm glad it's coming out on consoles because the idea of playing Lynx games on Sw...

Re: PandaMonium Reviews Every U.S. Sega Saturn Game

So I'm only just now starting to watch this series and I have to say: I'm really digging it! It's going to take me a while before I get to Virtua Cop (and it'll probably take me at least a week after starting before I finish that) but I'm looking forward to catching up!

Re: Rendering Ranger: R2 (SNES) - Limited Run Games !

I don't have an SNES and if I ever get one I'm inclined to just get a flash cart, but I really like these retro-rereleases that have been happening of late. While Retro-Bit has released shoddy products in the past, they've stepped up their game and I similarly trust companies like Limited Run or Str...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Sentai's summer sale, including all the available Garo live-action blu-rays. Unfortunately I've discovered that the first volume of the first series has become fabulously rare. :/ I liked the original Nurse Witch Komugi when I first saw it but when I rewatched it a co...

Re: Games Beaten 2022

I don't have AC and don't do well in the summer heat, so my gaming in the warm months drops dramatically and is pretty much exclusively handhelds (I don't even like using my PC or having my WiFi on to keep the temp a little lower). So it's been a while! But I've beaten a couple titles in the past fe...

How's your Turbografx-16 collection coming along? :)
