Re: Retro Game Store Directory

I went the the Pendergrass flea market a few weekends ago in Georgia. I didn't have a great experience and didn't end up buying anything. At the time there were three vendors that primarily sold video games. One to the left of the front door, one to the right and one straight back. The one to the le...

Re: Turtles In Time Reshelled license expiring on June 30th!

Speaking as someone that is not a connoisseur of either the original arcade version or the SNES version, I find it to be a decent enough multiplayer game to kill a little time when I have company over. The few times I've had to babysit a friend's kids, its been a big hit.

Re: To what extent are you a CIB collector?

I pretty much agree with the consensus here. For cart based games, the box and manual are not necessary but cool to have if the price it right. For CD based games, the case plus front and rear artwork are the way to go. Manual if it is the front cover. However, I will say after recently discovering ...

Re: SMT Persona 2 on PSP - P2P

Wonder if we will ever see Eternal Punishment again. As a PSone download on the PSN maybe? This is a pretty big deal for PSP. I've been looking at the release list for PSP for the rest of the year and there is not much due to come out. After BlazBlue 2 its mostly sports games. Well they reprinted i...

Re: What games or game systems have eluded you?

My white whale is without a doubt Suikoden II. Got the first game when it came out and loved it. I didn't even know a sequel had been made until I saw Suikoden III at a Best Buy. By then Suikoden II was already crazy expensive and I have never been able to bring myself to splurge on it. I still can'...

The only other thing that immediately comes to mind is a small amount of unnecessary censorship like when the guards were roughing up Celes.

where did you buy it?

eBay. I thought I was taking a chance on it because it because there was only one picture of it and they person selling said that he/she was unsure if it was ever opened. That sort of thing usually causes me to assume the worst.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"

I bought what I thought was a used copy of Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete (with all the extras) and it arrived today in the mail. Turns out it was brand new! Only some minor wear to the corners of the outer cardboard box. $50 I briefly considered reselling it before the urge to open it overpowered m...

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?

I'm working on Valkyria Chronicles 2 at the moment. Not quite as enjoyable as the first one in my opinion. I really do wish the AI was better. So far the only challenge for me was when an unkillable boss ran around the stage one-shotting all my units for lols. And even then I beat that stage on the ...
