Re: The Wrestling Thread

For those who don't know CM Punk has walked, he told Vince on Monday that he was going home and has been removed from all future events.

Re: Steam integration in physical copies.

Pretty sure retail games with steam still do most of the install off the disk, so it's still quicker than downloading.

Re: Capcom vs. Snk 2

Don't know about the US but here the price of fighting games on the xbox dropped pretty low. CVS2, MVC2, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, DOA Ultimate, Soul Calibur 2, all cost me £3-5 each here. I can see MVC2 going back up years from now buyt it used ot be pretty high, there is a chain of se...

Re: Capcom vs. Snk 2

The Sakura trick was so cool I had to learn how to do it, I fixed the stick again anyway. The PAL version of CVS2 did not have online play, it had voice chat but multiplayer was local only. I think the game came out later in Europe than it did in America so the bugs were probably ironed out in the c...

Re: How has James Rolf (aka AVGN) influenced you as a gamer?

I think AVGN has been really influential in new media, think about the millions of views his videos have gotten over the years on YouTube/Cinemassacre/Screwattack/GT, you better believe a lot of people who have watched those videos have seen his work and gone "I could do this". James Rolf ...

Re: Capcom vs. Snk 2

I've been playing some CVS2 on the xbox. I bought an old xbox original stick the other day, it had a dead button which I fixed and then killed again. m Dunno if it is a region thing but I've owned both xbox and Gamecube versions of CVS2 and they were okay over here, no glitches from what I've seen, ...

Re: The PC gaming Guide to Fighting Games (Sans Emulators)

Came into mention last Bronx, apparently it is arcade perfect when played on the max settings. The game did come out on the Xplosiv budget label and my experience with Xplosiv is that the game will work on anything, I've played Diablo and Age of Empires Xplosiv budget versions and they worked perfe...
