I made the cheapest find for a ps2 game about a month ago, in a Canadian Gamestop (they’re still known as EBGames here). It was Ecco the Dolphin – Defender of the future, for 3 dollars.

That’s right! Three Canadian bucks, flat, no exchange. According to the sale receipt, i saved around 17 dollars buying this used. xD

Finally, now this is a good list. Although Colossus and such have grown in price to be excludable.

Star Ocean
Black
Dragon QuestVIII
Nauto ultimate ninja(the stories a little backwards,but still worth playing)

Hm…lots of good titles here.
I have yet to play alot of these though.

I personally love the Ratchet & Clank series, Jak & Daxter series (yes, even Jak 2), as well as Sly Cooper series. So any of thse that u cn find cheap is well worth it.
Kingdom Hearts & FFX certainly belong on this list as well, they are both great games & both take time to complete, so they’re worth the money a few times over.
Also…considering u find them cheap enough,
I’d add a few more to this list. Such as:

Red Faction:
Pretty Awesome FPS with good Multiplayer action too.

Extermination:
Pretty Good SciFi/3rd person shooter game with lots of nasty alien creatures & bugs to shoot at.

Gungrave:
Another good shooter with some nice graphics & over-the-top action, this ones anime styled but shouldnt be exactly counted out just for that or any other reason really.
It maybe a button masher, but its still worth a play through.

Guilty Gear X:
A Wicked 2D fighting game thats fast paced with a great anime style. Probably my top pick for 2D fighting games all around.

Armored Core 2:
Fast paced robot combat game with lots of different missions & customiazation. Its always fun to play against a friend too.)

Hell I have lots of PS2 games I just love to play over time after time.
Only 1 I really would advise staying away from is
“Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse”.
I absolutely hate that game. It was such a waste of my money, & now I can only get about 50 cents on a trade in for it. lol
Maybe some ppl would like it, but Im gonna say most would hate it. I Mnge to find it at a pawn shop & thouht I’d give it a try. I bought it along with Armored Core 2 & well…
One got played tons, & one was tossed aside & barely played again.
