You left off Tomcat Alley. Does anyone else like that game as much as I do. I still consider it my favorite fighter pilot game.

*Add "Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side" to that list of games which expanded on concepts capable on 16-bit hardware*.

The Sega CD was so tragically underrated and underutilized. The idea to focus on Full Motion Video turned out to be a terrible idea, which hurt the add-on tremendously, but the tragedy of it is that it was killed just before developers figured out how to use the console's strengths. Games like Sonic CD, Lunar: The Eternal Blue, Robo Aleste, and Snatcher exhibit the console's ability to take concepts that were possible on regular 16-bit hardware and push them to the max with improved sound, graphics, and foremost: length. Even though console add-ons are a concept that has never, ever worked, had Sega focused on expanding traditional gameplay concepts as opposed to awkward FMV shovelware, the Sega CD would have sold much better. The FMV cutscene is absolutely fine, but the FMV video game is almost invariably terrible (with the exception of some gems like Time Gal and Road Avenger). It's a shame Sega didn't realize this sooner, or at least take the time to try and expand the add-on's library and marketing instead of simply dropping it without warning. They could have at least released the planned ports of SegaSonic Arcade and RadMobile!!
