Nice choices, though I really thought you'd mentioned either Adventures of Batman & Robin (amazing parallax, polygon sprites, lots of sprites on screen, great techno soundtrack, etc) or Red Zone (3D-ish graphics and impressive techno soundtrack). I remember also being pretty impressed with Toy Story back in the day.

Fantastic list. I think these games might be worthy contenders:

The Lion King
Rocket Knight Adventures
ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron
Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja Master
Earthworm Jim

See you next time.

Hi, I have a cousin who works for Sega and he once told me that most of the games on that system don't really work on the hardware alone. He said that he had to develop extra chips to put in the cartridges to make the games run faster. He told me that the reason Sega didn't tell anyone about the extra proformance chips because they wanted to make people beleive the hardware did all this stuff by itself, which, beleive it or not, cannot do.

I agree with all of these selections...but there's at least one glaring omission: Earthworm Jim! I would also consider checking out The Misadventures of Flink. Flink is easily the most beautiful Genesis game ever created -- and has great sound and scaling effects. Also, I seem to remember that The Adventures of Batman and Robin was a special effects tour de force.
