Some people need to realize that you can't include every sing big Dreamcast game. You kept the list short but sweet. Nice selection.

Grandia II was ported over to the PlayStation 2, so it's sorta hard to justify it being on the list. Then again, Crazy Taxi and Phantasy Star Online were ported as well... the Dreamcast is an incredibly hard system to do this for, so the criteria that works with most other systems doesn't work quite as well for the Dreamcast.

You're right, though: Grandia II is fantastic, alongside Resident Evil: Code Veronica. I'm not entirely certain that those should be omitted, judging as they were exclusive to the Dreamcast when they came out and are often fondly remembered in reference to that specific console.

I dunno, I think we should stop criticizing poor Racket for this list. It was a valiant effort, but the Dreamcast is a system full of cult classics, many of which were ported to other consoles sometime after its commercial death. The games which sold poorly, or were not released in various regions are just as classic and defining as those which sold well and had fully-backed worldwide releases. Very, very difficult list to compile, but he did about as well as anyone could have.

Yes, Racket, I have your back.

Just got my Dreamcast for 40$ :) Gotta try all this game!! I already got Echo for my GF and it's a winner :)

I'm going to do like Ashley and hook it to a good CRT for maximum graphic quality( all i got is an RF cable, why the hell Sega released a system so good with an outdated RF cable!!
