I enjoyed Fighting Vipers as well and it’s one of my favorite 3D fighters on the Saturn, but in all honesty, it doesn’t hold up that well a decade later — which is the point of this guide.

no mention of Fighting Vipers huh? I learned that game at the arcade and then bought a Saturn because of it. Still one of the best fighters ever to this date.

Nice list. But where is Mr. Bones? It was one of the few games that helped define the Saturn’s uniqueness. And there has never been another game like it since.
