Well, you just proved you don’t read comments, as the answer about Tuff E Nuff was right above your comment. I suppose I will repeat myself:

I don’t know about you guys, but three characters just isn’t much, especially when they play like bad rips of Street Fighter characters.” And they did play like bad rips of Street Fighter characters.

Doomsday Warrior’s controls never felt good to me, either. Sure, it had a 1992 release date, so I can understand the lesser graphics and sound. And I like the idea of making a character stronger by winning battles. But poor controls are poor controls, and that was always my gripe with it. Now if you like Doomsday Warrior, I’ll suggest you try Power Moves. It’s not the greatest either, but I think some of what it tries to do is pretty cool, especially a couple of stage designs.

And for the record, I own all of these. I play all of them. And I play lots of fighting games. If you don’t like my thoughts on them, ok then. That’s cool. Join the forums and post on the Fighter board about them and we’ll discuss the ups and downs of each. But don’t just insult me because I wasn’t the biggest fan of your two favorite games.

And Street Fighter III Third Strike isn’t on the SNES.

Hey Sledge — while I haven’t played Doomsday Warrior or Tuff E Nuff, I can’t help but be curious what you think is great about them. If you could provide some solid explanation about why you don’t think they are mediocre, that would give you much more credibility than just spouting off “how dare you”.

As for Third Strike, first of all it is definitely not a SNES game, and it also happens to be one of the favorite fighters of all time. While it isn’t one that is especially easy to pick up and master, it is a very deep fighter that has a good focus on defense instead of simply a strong offensive. It is more of a thinking-man’s fighter as opposed to a rampaging button-masher. On top of that, it has excellent character design — especially considering it was a reboot of the Street Fighter series and has very nice audio and visual presentation as well.

Are you the type of person that just likes good graphics and such ? How dare you call Doomsday Warrior Mediocre ! How dare you disrespect Tuff E Nuff like that ! Just cuz there old don’t mean they suck I’ll have you know I have more fun playing those games than some of today’s fighting games. What do YOU know about fighting games anyway ! Why isn’t Street Fighter III: 3rd strike there ? Now there’s a game that absolutely sucks !!!!!

I want to add in, this is the only game I recall I bought for the snes..i don’t know if i bought another game for it(honestly i dont know why) , but , dont play it…its:
DEAD DANCE!

i have nightmares remembering that game. As a kid , with no snes up till ‘95(1 year before 64), and the first game I buy is dead dance(and i think last)…out of all the Snes jewels….dead dance….so sad
