Thought I'd point out that Metal Slug Anthology (Wii) doesn't offer the use of the Classic Controller. At least, not in the US version, I've heard they added that in for the Japanese release. I, personally, thought that you could use the Classic Controller, and went out and bought one after a bit, almost exclusively to play Metal Slug; only to find out that I was still stuck with the Gamecube controller.

Who thought it'd be a good idea to implement Gamecube controls, but not a set for the Classic Controller?

Just FYI, Metal Slug Anthology was also on PSP - that's the version I own. The load times suck but all in all it's a very good package.

I am happy Red Star made it on that list.

When I bought a copy new last week the Gamestop clerk on duty said something to the effect that it must be a horrible game because he never sold a copy of it up to that point...

...I am beginning to despise mainstream gamers.

Is it now cool to bag on a game like Red Star just because you never played it and it didn't sell many copies?

Retro style games forever!

"There is also a two-tiered weapon system that allows players to combine two weapons into a super weapon."
That's actually not a new feature. Super Contra (arcade version of Super C) had that feature.
